European Union Youth Wind Orchestra and 35th International Music Week

EUROPEAN UNION YOUTH WIND ORCHESTRA (EUYWO)

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The rehearsal session and concert tour of the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra (EUYWO) will take place from the 3rd to 11th of November, 2019 with concerts in Luxembourg and Saarbrücken under the direction of Jan Cober and in collaboration with the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg. It is generously supported by the Luxembourgish Ministry of Culture, the City of Luxembourg and the Erasmus+ / Youth in Action program of the European Union.
60 young musicians from all over Europe are sought for the 2019 tour. Young highly-qualified musicians (music students, laureates of youth music competitions, professional musicians, etc.), that:
- are 15 to 30 years old;
- play a wind instrument, percussion or double bass/harp/piano;
- live in an EU member state or other European country.

35th INTERNATIONAL MUSIC WEEK, 19.07-29.07.2019, Luxembourg
The UGDA Music School (Luxembourg) announces the 35th International Music Week, which will take place from July 19 to 29, 2019, in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg).
Young musicians from all over Europe playing a string, wind or percussion instrument, ages 14 to 26, may take part in this international exchange, which includes following workshops:
* Symphony orchestra - choir - chamber music (woodwinds / brass / percussion / strings).
This youth exchange is supported by the European Commission and the Luxembourg National Agency in the frame of the EU-programme "Erasmus+/Youth in action”.
